Sirius
Sirius Community is a non-profit educational center and spiritual community that aims to live by principles of spiritual attunement, community, and sustainable living. We host educational retreats and events in alignment with these values.
Sustainability
We are an established eco-village modeling principles of co-creation with nature, and permaculture in the design of our homes, organic gardens, year-round greenhouses, and other facilities. Our buildings use natural earth materials such as local wood, clay, or straw-bales and are designed for energy efficiency.
Community
As an Intentional Community, we support each other's wellbeing and personal growth in pursuits of sustainability and mindfulness. We commit to resolving conflicts with those around us and within ourselves and we employ meditative consensus to make decisions.
Spirituality
Our spiritual foundation reflects an awareness of a Divine presence underlying all things and a commitment to service. Attunement is the essence of our shared practice, bringing us into presence with each other whenever we gather for joyful productivity, meetings, and meals. We welcome a diversity of practices and paths. Several of our facilities are dedicated spaces for spiritual growth.
Education
We welcome groups and individuals in alignment with our mission to use our facilities as an educational center. As an educational non-profit, Sirius community offers internships, residential programs, and various other classes. We are a demonstration site inspiring growth in what matters to us: sustainability, community, and spirituality.
