The abiu tree (Pouteria caimito) is a tropical fruit tree native to South America. It produces round yellow fruits that have a smooth, shiny skin and a sweet, creamy flesh. Abiu fruits are often eaten fresh or used in desserts and juices. The tree itself is known for its large, glossy green leaves and can grow up to 20 meters in height.
